It’s Printfest! I’ve been attending Printfest in Ulverston for three years now (after spending 5 years trying to get in). It’s a fantastic print festival. Although it’s on our doorstep it’s the best print event in the country and it’s the one everyone wants to get in. It’s not just about people coming and buying prints it’s about the printmakers getting together. We are a tribe and we like to share tricks and tips, have a laugh and go for a drink. It’s such an inspirational event. I urge you to go even if printmaking isn’t your thing as you can’t help but be swept up by the enthusiasm of the printmakers
