Liverpool Summer Arts

Jamie Barnes

I’m back in Liverpool for the Summer Arts Market which is held in the stunning Anglican Cathedral. It was built in the early 20th century and looks like an amazing gothic space rocket - it’s something else. The event was fantastic and there were about 200 exhibitors. Inside the cathedral it’s always very busy. I have a great time talking to people and selling my wares there. This year they also had Luke Jerram’s Gaia which is a huge sculpture of the earth, lit from inside, which spins very, very slowly. It was a great backdrop for us as well. I hope to be going back there in the winter for the Winter Arts Market.
